Below you can find the power video which aims to motivate people to study neuroscience. My background is in biology, and more specifically in neuroscience. That’s why I chose neuroscience as a biological context in this video.
I have tried to motivate people by addressing a short background in neuroscience, followed by a brief introduction about why I studied neuroscience. Hopefully I made clear that there is already a lot known about the brain, while there are still many things to discover. Therefore, I included a brain map as illustration which impressed me a few weeks ago about how complex the brain is with everything we know by now.
During the process of creating the video I found out that two minutes is quite short. Although I had written down some bullet points I would like to address, I had to record the voice-over a few times, because I used too much time. That is also the reason that the video lacks some call-to-actions.
