Prototypes for live poster

  1. The first poster grabs attention, however, it doesn’t really look like a poster meant to inform you at first glance, instead it looks more like a poster for a movie or video game. I’m also missing a moving element, the poster is completely stationary which detracts from the amount of attention it grabs. I also think that the people most likely to scan the qr code are those that are already interested in biology.

The second poster also grabs attention but just like the other one it has no moving elements which detracts from the amount of attention it will grab. Using the school’s color scheme is nice because students will be used to this. It is hard to fully comment without the pictures there but the concept is nice.

  2. Biological choice: The colours being from the school colour scheme was a nice touch! Maybe add something moving to catch the attention, for example a qr code in the bottom right? It depends on how much text you want to add, but my advice would be not too much. Also try to make sure it doesn.t overlap with the chromosome thing, otherwise it’ll look kind of ugly.

Movie poster: I think there is a good amount of text for the space. Visually, the colours were a bit “agressive”. The QR code was a nice addition in order to give a link to more information. It was a unique look, which made it eye catching.
